Looking for a Four Leafed Clover?

I’ve recently taken possession of a smart new pair of glasses. With my 20:20 vision now perfectly calibrated, my desire to catch sight of something really special has consequently run riot.

When out walking in our Chiltern Hills surroundings, I cannot help scanning previously unscrutinised areas of grassland, confident that those elusive sights will be that much easier to spot!

As yet, I can report no sighting of the Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio Verde logo, first introduced in 1963 (a good vintage!). Nevertheless I remain confident that before too long the upgrade in lens power will prove very worthwhile.

Having reflected on what I have seen, however - three leaved clovers in flower, ever surrounded by industrious bees - I find that I am appreciating the usual flora rather more than was previously the case.

The lesson that relates to the world of recruitment is this: it is all too easy to wish for something special for specialness’ sake, rather than appreciating the personal qualities that already exist and deserve to be valued, for all that they may seem more familiar.

Here at JML I have always personally read with great anticipation and interest every document that comes into my sphere of vision.

So if you choose to send your CV to me, you may rest assured that I shall be just as excited to receive your three leaves as I would be to see four!
