YOKO

LONDON

 GRAPHIC DESIGNER (JEWELLERY)

 Competitive package

 Based Hatton Garden, London EC1

In the years since its establishment in 1973, Yoko London has evolved and gained recognition as a leading International Luxury Pearl Jewellery specialist.

Yoko London pairs the expertise of a family business, which spans three generations of the Hakimian family, with an insatiable desire to innovate.

With clientele in over 70 countries and a flagship store in London’s prestigious Knightsbridge, they are today seeking to employ a Graphic Designer familiar with their own product speciality - Fine Jewellery - to accelerate the in-house marketing initiatives to which they are increasingly committed.

Their recent relocation within London’s Jewellery District enables all company departments to interface more effectively and pool their collective talents. Alongside all the usual Head Office functions, there is a bespoke area within which their Creatives and Craftspeople develop their exquisite collections of Pearl Jewellery.

In terms of challenge and variety for a Graphic Designer, this role is tremendously wide, having the capacity to stretch beyond a purely UK remit and encompass creative elements for international markets as well.

You will need to be consummately proficient in Microsoft applications, as well as in as many Design Software programs as possible, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, to name but a few. Proudly photographing their awesome precious jewellery items for global promotion purposes creates fantastic opportunities for their digital marketing to really stand out from the crowd.

Existing experience of producing web pages, banners and advertisements within the jewellery sector, as well as ensuring all Social Media posts are immaculate and branded in accordance with best marketing practice, could be a potential game changer.

You enjoy being “hands on”, sharing in your employer’s quest for ever greater commercial success, and you pride yourself on keeping abreast of new trends, opportunities and initiatives within your sphere of professional knowledge. You will need to match excellent communication and numeracy skills with a strong sense of urgency to match our client’s pace and ambition.

It can sometimes take Yoko London a year to locate a single pearl to crown a design masterpiece - corporate patience which is no doubt praiseworthy - however they wish to welcome their new Graphic Designer an awful lot sooner! So don’t hesitate, send your CV today!
