The Role

While certain principles of retail excellence will always remain essential—such as a warm welcome, deep product knowledge and professional, structured selling—this role goes far beyond the traditional sales environment.

You will be encouraged to elevate the client experience by inspiring customers with the possibilities of bespoke jewellery, sharing your knowledge of design, craftsmanship and the making process. Your engagement with clients will extend beyond the showroom, as you confidently communicate through whichever channel best suits their needs.

You will consistently demonstrate efficiency, attentiveness and proactive personal service, motivating colleagues through your example and earning exceptional feedback from clients. Requirements

  • Several years’ sales experience within a retail jewellery environment would be highly advantageous

  • An understanding of jewellery production, design and craftsmanship processes is strongly desirable

  • A genuine interest in gemmology and diamonds (both natural and lab-grown) would be welcomed

  • Any formal retail jewellery training or professional accreditation would be beneficial

  • Proven ability to sell luxury products while delivering an exceptional customer experience

  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve outstanding client outcomes

  • A natural enthusiasm for continually learning about jewellery manufacturing trends, styles and crafting capabilities

  • The ability to clearly explain technical concepts to clients during in-depth consultations

  • A passion for client service with the consistent aim of earning five-star customer reviews
