As a family-run business this leading Independent Jeweller has been providing exquisite jewellery and luxury watches to customers for over 50 years.
Since being founded in 1971 their business has steadily grown to a store portfolio of five group owned stores hosting some of our industries most prestigious brands.
There exists an opportunity for a skilled Jobbing Jeweller to carry out a wide range of jewellery repairs and alternations. Located in their in-house workshop, you will be supported with the latest tools & technology.
Job Role:
The successful jobbing jeweller candidate must have the ability to competently carry out the following everyday jewellery aftersales services.
Ring sizing, soldering, polishing, rhodium plating, laser competent, setting work, re-shanking together with re-tipping and intricate claw work.
Requirements:
It is felt that at least twelve months previous bench experience would be needed together with a highly driven work ethic linked with an innate inner desire to succeed.
You’ll need excellent communication skills and be accepting of the high level of responsibility and accountability that would be yours to departmentally deliver.
There would be the opportunity to extend your bench talent in spheres that would add speciality to your jewellery repair repertoire and this would be company supported & encouraged where perceived to be commercially advantageous.
Summary:
The variety of bench work that in the future you could be day-to-day embracing (Monday – Friday)
