The merger with Laings Glasgow heralds the dawn of a new era for the group, which now boasts seven luxury stores across the UK.

Over £1 million has been invested in creating the new Westquay Flagship Boutique showroom, which replaces the former High Street “Parkhouse” store, and offers Patek Philippe, Rolex and IWC, alongside their own collections of LAING fine diamond jewellery.

Responsible for selling the most admired horological marques the industry has to offer, these roles will hugely appeal to sales professionals with existing experience in all aspects of watch sales. If you have already sold luxury timepieces – be it on land or sea – that would be a tremendous advantage, and the more brand and industry training you have already acquired the better.

You must be a fast learner in order to absorb the various product technicalities, understanding both the obvious and less obvious key points of difference between products, and perfecting your ability to differentiate adeptly between the prestigious famous names.

In-store watch sales is a highly consultative activity, and you must be keenly focused on finding customer solutions, able fluently to present brands across the board, matching the highest expectations of the brands you proudly represent.

Your high personal standards and desire to improve are demonstrated by your impeccable attention to merchandising detail, and the pride you take in your performance of every in-store procedure.

The key brands are always keen to enhance your knowledge and understanding of their offerings, which will benefit not just you but also the store’s standing as brand supplier, and – most importantly – the customer.
