Our client is recognised as Britain’s No.1 watch distribution business. They are now eagerly seeking a Marketing and Commercial Assistant to join their team focusing on the marketing of their Accurist brand.
As a Commercial Assistant you will be assisting the Marketing Manager and you will be responsible for the implementation of the trade marketing strategy and to optimise distribution and identify new opportunities to build the Accurist brand value with customers.
A key element of this position will be store communication – this will involve assisting with the development and distribution of display material, creation and maintenance of Visual Product Guides; Visual merchandising, using sales data to make commercial decisions about product placement and space optimisation Creation and maintenance of brand training guides, using an in depth understanding of different brands to apply an appropriate tone of voice and communicate key brand messages
In this position you will also be the key contact for Senior Merchandisers to ensure that the merchandising team across the country are up to date with relevant brand information and utilising brand collateral to keep the trade up to date with brand information. You will also responsible for supplying POS, display materials, weekly updates, specific projects as specified by management and any other reasonable requests to ensure that the merchandise team are fully equipped to carry out their roles efficiently
You will be responsible for the requisition and management of samples for commercial purposes, including; Managing and distributing samples for PR, social media, bloggers and internal photography; managing samples for the boardroom showcases ensuring that displays are dressed to plan at all times; putting watches back into stock after meetings or as required.
You will also get the opportunity to assist with content creation. You will be writing copy for product descriptions, trade emailers and brand collateral. Another element to this position will be website audits, maintenance of the merchandiser blog and assisting the marketing manager with advertising communication where necessary.
This position will also entail a good element of market research – you will be undertaking and completing competitor reports as well as regularly monitoring consumer and fashion trends
