A true ‘destination’ store in a prime city location, this retail jeweller brings to market many of the world’s finest Watch and Jeweller brands. This store has rarely sought to hire a new sales/business unit leader, so this opportunity is doubly exciting.
The successful applicant will be pretty well the finished article when it comes to senior retail management, although this well-recognised business will provide a thorough and successful induction process to ensure immediate impact.
Management experience within the Watch and Jewellery business would be preferable, although supervisory professionalism gained within other areas of high value retailing may be equally worthy of consideration. Experience dealing with brands and products of high technical and manufacturing refinement could also fit the needs of our client well.
Already in command of a high calibre retail store, you are well-versed in driving forward sales turnover while ensuring the optimal use of all resources at your disposal.
In-store standards of display and visual merchandising are never permitted to fall short of excellence under your watchful eye; yet another area where you are never prepared to compromise.
Leading a multi-talented shop floor sales team, you encourage teamwork and cohesiveness, while also recognising specific talent and providing challenges accordingly. Your style is so motivational to every team member, whatever their responsibility level, that you inspire thoughtful dedication across the board.
You are strongly sales focused and acknowledge the importance of training others to your exacting performance standards. You will be ever on the outlook for ways in which your team can develop their local prominence further, through organising special events and/or co-operation with other key stakeholders within Norwich.
You will receive frequent visits in store, from both supplier brands and buying office VIPs, therefore you will need to have performance metrics always at your fingertips, brand by brand, category by category, and be able to encourage support from all parties to achieve mutually-held business goals.
